Editing Caption Text

Automatic transcription gets you most of the way there, but names, product terms, and fast speech sometimes need a human touch. The Caption text panel lets you correct and re-time every word without leaving the editor.

Fix the wording

Open the Caption text panel and edit words directly, just like a text document. Your edits stay in sync with the timing, so corrected captions still appear at the exact moment they're spoken.

Split and merge pages

Captions are grouped into pages — the chunks of text shown on screen at once. Break a long page in two so it's easier to read, or merge short fragments into a single line for a calmer, steadier rhythm.

Adjust the timing

If a caption lands early or lingers too long, nudge when its page appears. Small timing tweaks keep the words locked to the voice and make the whole video feel more professional.
